The College’s academic activities are at par with the rapidly flourishing infrastructural; facilities. A healthy atmosphere is growing up with the mutual understanding and adjustment between the students and staff. Gymnasium, hostels playground extend facilities for the students. Alumni Association Enhances student’s support service. Technology based education is being given priority to conventional method of education. Students’ interest is being safeguarded by the College authority and the Students’ Union of the college.

Different types of facilities are available here. Distance Education Centre is set up and this Indira Gandhi National Open University. Science Culture is simultaneously enriched by Midnapore College Center for Scientific Culture established by Indian Association of Physics (IAPT). Astronomical studies are pursued here as provided by N.C.Rana Sky Observation Centre. Educational Tours for students are conducted by the teachers. Midnapore College Library at present has a large stock of books nearing about fifty thousand and may be recognized as a research centre.

Teaching learning procedure is up to the mark. Teachers are engaged in research activities, publishing articles in National and International journals. They teach the students with utmost devotion and counsel them in career option, inspire them to prosecute higher studies. The performances of our students in the University Examination are satisfactory and the success rate is rising higher and higher from year to year. Seminars, Workshops, P.N.Ghosh Memorial Lectures, N.S.S. activities etc are being held for updating the knowledge of both students and teachers.

The non-teaching staff of this College is very good and active. Each one of the staff; is helping the College to prosper more and more. Midnapore College Alumni Association is the College’s pride. It is working throughout the years for the betterment of College’s academic activities and enhancing infrastructural facilities. The Alumni are the College’s glory.
